Our Team

Dr. Mel

I graduated from Ross School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. I spent the first 10 years of my career in general practice serving companion animals, being mostly dogs and cats, with an occasional rabbit, guinea pig, reptile or amphibian. I enjoy practicing medicine, and I still spend the most of my week in hospital seeing appointments and treating patients. However, I dislike putting my own animals to sleep in a hospital setting. I prefer outdoors, surrounded by sunshine and family. Since I am able to provide my own pets and family a more peaceful experience, it felt unfair that my clients did not have the same options. I was heartbroken every time a client inquired about in-home euthanasia services and I had to admit that it wasn’t a service the hospital provided.

With the blessings, support and mentorship of some very dear colleges, Over The Rainbow Bridge was created in 2023 allowing me to serve your pets as I have my own.

Natasha

I began working in the veterinary field in 2017. I have a huge passion for animals and wanting to help them in any way I can. It all started as a child, bringing stray cats and injured garden snakes into my bedroom without my mother knowing. My passion for helping animals developed into my full time professional interest. I have the strong desire to provide a more peaceful end of life experience for pets where I am not interrupted with concurrent patient or hospital emergencies. Every animal parent and companion deserve to let go in the setting they prefer, their favorite couch in the living room or even under that tree in the backyard that they once loved to lay under on sunny days. Over The Rainbow Bridge is able to provide a more peaceful unique experience that I am proud to offer our clients.
